Overview
Off the northern coast of Venezuela, in the late 1600s, a pirate ship sinks in a storm, its treasure lost and its crew forgotten. Centuries later, a cement freighter sinks under mysterious circumstances in the same waters.
Marine researchers Chris Dunn and Ray Salas arrive in Mochima National Park for a routine diving project-but when two university students are kidnapped during a night dive, Chris and Ray are drawn into a dangerous conflict involving smuggling routes, hidden caves, and a powerful criminal network.
As they search for answers, they uncover a link between the sunken past and the violent present. With time running out, they must navigate treacherous waters-both literal and political-to protect their friends and prevent an old treasure from falling into the wrong hands.
