Movie Reviews
Reviews:
"What makes this one a bit different is its rigorous grounding in realism, nourished by the spontaneous, semi-improvised performances that reportedly used the screenplay credited to Papadimitropoulos and Rob Hayes only as a road map." - 09/14/2019 Hollywood Reporter
"MONDAY gives you the fizzy sensation that it’s just what an indie romantic comedy should be: buoyant and real, full of the sexiness of smashed boundaries, with two alluring free spirits at its center." - 04/14/2021 Variety
"[I]t’s a sharply observed, well-acted picture with a lot of tart detail and a few real stings in its tail." - 04/15/2021 New York Times
"The anti-rom-com MONDAY has much going for it, from the jaw-droppingly beautiful Greek locales to the talented leads to a promising first act..." - 04/15/2021 Chicago Sun-Times
"Writer-director Papadimitropoulos has a particular feel for sun-baked hedonism and atmosphere, and Gough and Stan are extremely game..." - 04/15/2021 Entertainment Weekly
