Alternative Press (7/95, p.94) - Rated #70 in AP's list of the `Top 99 Of '85-'95' - "...Superchunk's shining moment...expertly combining the band's early, hi-octane thrash moves with a slower, more mature melodic sound that diluted none of its power...a solid, thirteen-cut burner..."
Record Collector (magazine) (p.93) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "[I]nvigorating....There are grungey undercurrents in `Mower' and `Swallow That'..."
