In addition to these songs, having left the collection in his archive for later release, in late 2024 Paul added 3 extra songs written in the final days he was able to: the adrenalin-punk 'Who Are You, Anyway', the 'goodbye' anthem 'I'll See You Around', and the elegiac, allegorical ballad 'The Gentle Willow', often cited as 'the best time-up epitaph since My Way'. Rounding out the anthology is an essay by Paul, 'Painting Rainbows Out Of Tears', in which he details the backdrop to, and back-story of, all the songs presented here. Moving, emotive, heartwarming and, at times, uncomfortable, these lyrics showcase the narrative and alliterative songwriting skills of a master of the genre.
