Editorial Reviews
NME (Magazine) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "A meandering early-'70s montage approach to song structure merges with oddball new wave melodies and the sort of whimsical, hook-avoiding choruses that Peter Gabriel used to sing about Victorian tree monsters in 1974..."
Pitchfork (Website) - "[I]t's remarkably straight-ahead. This album bears the earnest directness of artists whose sense of the world has been nudged into focus in a new way."
Clash (Magazine) - "OPEN HERE is a defiant and impassioned statement in which Field Music prove they have mastered the art of addressing the political and the personal simultaneously. It's fun, it's loud, it's dense."
