Overview
What happens when a southern spit-fire gets sent back through time? She has a blast in the hay-day of the old west. Angela Lou Reed finds it all too easy to adjust to living in 1896. Too skinny, bold, and fearless, this cowgirl's only adjustment is the lack of freedoms for women in this time. At first Angela doesn't believe the warnings of the strange foreigner who sent her through time, and decides to live her life in 1896. It's not long before she finds her spirit broken down. The bravery she thought she had, the confidence she had always had, faded, stolen from her after an encounter that broke her trust and threatened her in a way that she'd never been threatened before. Angela had never had much need to travel or explore, but nearly a year after being sent through time she finds herself traveling not only across the country, but the ocean with a man she must trust with fighting a battle she can't. Angela had never been one to back down from a fight or admit defeat, but trapped in the 1890's she finds herself facing a battle she can't win on her own.
