We wrote together for about five years. During those years, my poetry became centered around this very confusing, emotionally draining time. When I began to review the over three hundred poems for a book, it became clear. I had been creating a false picture in my head of what this was. As my eyes were widened to reality, I decided that cutting ties was in my best interest. The direction of the book changed course. The result is a collection of poetry where you become the passenger on my emotional roller coaster.
