Overview
Caleb Wolfe, a frontier farmer and tracker, returns to the Florida Territory after a year of aimless wandering. His journey home is interrupted when he protects a little girl, Daisy, from a Seminole attack on a frontier homestead. In saving Daisy, Caleb threatens the life of the fierce Seminole leader, Nocosê Tustenuggie. Through Daisy, Caleb meets Leah Green, a gentle, intelligent young woman who steals Caleb's heart. However, before he can win Leah's hand, Caleb is compelled to help resolve the deadly conflict known as The Florida War. Because of his confrontation with Nocosê Tustenuggie, Caleb's past and future are set on a collision course that changes his life as well as Leah's and Daisy's forever.
