Movie Reviews

Reviews:
3 stars out of 4 -- "THE PROMISE is drenched in production value and replete with ravishing shots of sunrises and sunsets, but it’s in the scenes of fleeing, of battle, and of horrendous loss that the film is at its most effective." - 04/21/2017 RogerEbert.com

"The events of THE PROMISE transpire some 30 years prior to the storyline of CASABLANCA, but we can’t help but be reminded of the latter film when we witness this love triangle set against the backdrop of the horrors of a world war." - 04/20/2017 Chicago Sun-Times
