Movie Reviews
Reviews:
"It’s another breathless chamber piece, expertly crafted to pack dread into every nerve-rattling sound." - 05/18/2021 Hollywood Reporter
"[T]he sequel feels even more M. Night Shyamalan-esque, drawing out as it does seemingly mundane sequences for maximum suspense." - 05/18/2021 Variety
3 stars out of 4 -- "In writing and directing this sequel, Krasinski proves his intelligence and his non-subversive priorities when it comes to being a genre director. He also asserts his talent at orchestrating tense life-or-death scenes..." - 05/28/2021 RogerEbert.com
"The film does recall, in at least one respect, the most revered Part II in cinema, going full Godfather saga with an opening passage set before the events of the last movie." - 05/18/2021 A.V. Club
"[T]his new installment is, like its predecessor, wonderfully acted and intuitively directed..." - 05/27/2021 New York Times
"Part II‘s kickoff gives you thrills-spills-chills mayhem that would play well in any space." - 05/25/2021 Rolling Stone
"Once again, Krasinski manages to render relatively straightforward tasks -- nursing a baby, tuning a radio, walking through a train car -- harrowing; dialogue, by necessity, is rarely wasted, and his actors feel far more sympathetically human and real than most meat-puppet horror chum." - 05/18/2021 Entertainment Weekly
"[A] spine-tingling monster movie that expands the canvas and leaves us wanting more from this franchise." - 07/06/2021 Chicago Sun-Times
"Like A QUIET PLACE, PART II is a lean, nearly flab- and gristle-free piece of sci-fi steak." - 12/27/2021 Washington Post
