Music Reviews
Editorial Reviews
Rolling Stone (p.67) - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "Jumping from Bowie glam to disco punk, the band tosses in synths, arch backing coos and riffing saxes for songs that are both expansive and strange."
Entertainment Weekly (p.64) - "[T]his L.A.-based quartet pierces the gloom with winsome melodies and swelling, thunderous choruses." -- Grade: B+
Alternative Press (p.140) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "[T]he moodier moments are what ultimately make this album Phantom Planet's best. The title track eases you in with acoustic guitars and percussion, quietly creeping along until the strings come crashing in to greet the chorus hook....It's brilliant."
