This includes the influences of country values from Pennsylvania and North Carolina. Also our values as Americans and what it means to be an American. A look at what it meant to be a man in the 40’s and 50’s and what it means today.Including a sometimes cynical, conservative view of life today.Sometimes sad, mostly humorous and written to help my children to know who their old man was and what he stood for. Also to hopefully start them thinking about who they are and what they have and have not done with their lives so far. Maybe they will not make the same mistakes I made. Unfortunately most of us only learn through mistakes.
