Fresh off of his stay of execution from the atrocities he committed at the Siege of Caerleon, Mordred and his malevolent mother Morganna find themselves once again allied with Briton's interminable enemies, the Saecsons. Mordred and Morganna storm back to their Saecson allies, who have teamed with another antagonist of Briton, the Jutes, and the combined forces square off in a battle for the ages against Arthur's forces in what history has told us was Arthur's final and greatest battle: the Battle of Mount Baedon, from whose field came no victor.Ray Cattie is on the "...list of what we consider to be the most important Arthurian fiction writers from the start of the twentieth century onwards."
