The contributing authors are successive members of the Liver Disease Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine since 2000, along with some outstanding young committee members (holding senior professional titles), including nationally and provincially recognized renowned Chinese medicine practitioners as well as distinguished experts and scholars in the field of integrative medicine. To showcase the academic achievements and educational legacy of contemporary integrative medicine liver disease experts, this book was initiated and published following discussions and decisions by the 11th Liver Disease Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine. Each selected case reflects the integrative medicine characteristics of liver disease treatment, highlighting features such as the enhanced efficacy and reduced toxicity achieved through the combined use of Chinese and Western medications. Each case is accompanied by a discussion that elucidates the integrative medicine theories applied during the diagnosis and treatment process. As part of the academic work of the Liver Disease Branch, this collection of medical records summarizes and presents the academic expertise and achievements in the transmission of knowledge by contemporary integrative medicine liver disease specialists.
