My husband made the observation that some of my poems are 'deep'. However, I do not think they are too deep to be understood. Several people have remarked that my poems are sad. I took exception to this and replied that they are not all sad by any means; some of them are quite happy. Readers may find my poems to be rather controversal but this is by design, because it is often through controversy that excellence is reached.
