{ "item_title" : "In The Shadows Of Promise", "item_author" : [" Martin Robertson "], "item_description" : "In The Shadows Of Promise is an anthology of poetry based on my dreams..I have made love in my dreams, explored new lands, spoken foreign languages and even experienced life through the eyes of other beings. I have been killed in battle, though I have no real life military experience. It is as if in some dreams I merge into the dreams or lives of others. Some incredibly happy, some terribly sad, some horrific Some dreams leave me with a sense of purity and innocence.Winter's DawnI have not forgotten you, my windy friendAs you steal in and surround my worldAnd still the night with your shy breathCausing fall of leaves to soften my walk ahead.I did wait for nowTo see how you sweep the land of summer's wasteGiving flight to the flyingAnd death to the dying.I did wait for your cool embraceOf my rosy cheeks and crystal tearsTo remind me of life's precious tidesIn the sea of my existence.What polite warning you do giveOf cold that's sure to come upon meSo I might fetch wood to warm my homeAnd blanket my bed with mother's quilt.What great caring you do giveTo share the past year's hopesAnd love of friends and family bothAll with dreams far and new.I have not forgotten you, my windy friendAs the great clouds dance to your songs of timeTo clear the morn for the sun to smileAnd melt the frost in fields of crisp blades.This anthology is divided in 6 chapters.Bealtitudo (bliss)Cordolium (heartache)Amor Novus (new love)Anguista (anguish)Meliora (for the pursuit of something better)Cogitato (Meditations and reflections)I hope to see you in my dreams", "item_img_path" : "https://covers4.booksamillion.com/covers/bam/9/79/836/255/9798362550615_b.jpg", "price_data" : { "retail_price" : "9.50", "online_price" : "9.50", "our_price" : "9.50", "club_price" : "9.50", "savings_pct" : "0", "savings_amt" : "0.00", "club_savings_pct" : "0", "club_savings_amt" : "0.00", "discount_pct" : "10", "store_price" : "" } }
