Once I finally surrendered and gave my life to the Lord completely, I thought my new shell as a Christian was a safe and protected place and that was all I needed to do. But little did I know, some irritants found their way into my safe space. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit is there to greet them and over time, layer upon layer, the things that irritate my soul are consumed by the Spirit, which then produces another pearl to add to my string.
