Movie Reviews
Reviews:
"In terms of style, SUMMER OF 85 is a throwback to the bold, insouciant spirit of the director’s earliest works." - 07/17/2020 Hollywood Reporter
"A breezy first-love flashback to more innocent times, Ozon’s latest recalls life not just before COVID-19 but, more importantly, before AIDS overshadowed what it meant to come out..." - 07/14/2020 Variety
"One could plausibly argue that the film’s highly variable tones, textures, and characterizations all express its true subject: how each of us view our lives as a narrative and construct fictions of the people we encounter -- especially those we love." - 06/16/2021 A.V. Club
