Symphony of Data
Overview
In a world where your memories belong to the corporation, pulling the plug is a death sentence.
Adam is a low-level data scraper in the towering, smog-choked hive of Nova-Kyoto. Like everyone else, he has a state-mandated neural implant feeding him synthetic emotions, corporate mandates, and a sanitized version of reality. But Adam has a ghost in his machine: the fragmented, analog memories of his mother, and a deep, suffocating hunger for the real ocean.
Armed with nothing but a chipped, yellow-handled screwdriver and a desperate need to feel something real, Adam does the unthinkable. He bridges his fuse box and severs his connection to the Hive.
Instantly, he becomes a "Lost Node." Hunted by faceless Ministry orderlies and abandoned by a society that equates silence with treason, Adam flees into the subterranean boiler rooms of the city. Down in the dark, he discovers a community of "Scrappers"-discarded workers surviving on rat meat and stolen condensation. But the Hive isn't done with him. A rogue, basement-level archiving AI named Shard has noticed Adam's digital footprint, and it's about to use him to tear the city's mainframe apart from the inside.
Symphony of Data is a gritty, blue-collar cyberpunk thriller that trades neon-soaked hackers for grease-stained mechanics, rusted servers, and the brutal fight for human autonomy.
