Overview
Tarzan the Terrible is a novel by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs, the eighth in his series of twenty-four books about the title character larzan. Jane, Tarzan's love was abducted and is found by Tarzan to be in Pal-ul-don, the Land of Men. Dinosaurs and men with tails live in this secret valley in Zaire. Ta-den is a Ho-don warrior with white skin and no hair. O-mat is the Waz-don chief of his tribe and has a hairy black complexion. When Tarzan is captured, his captors give him the nickname Tarzan-Jad-Guru, also known as Tarzan the Terrible. As Tarzan gets away, he goes to the City of Light, where Jane is being held. A second stranger arrives wearing just a loincloth and carrying an unfired Enfield rifle.
