Music Reviews
Editorial Reviews
Rolling Stone - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "On their fourth album, Kentucky band Cage the Elephant refurbish mid-Sixties retro-rock with a 21st-century studio vividness..."
Paste (magazine) - "The band cites classic rock influences like The Doors, Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. 'Sweetie Little Jean' borrows from mid-era Beatles while 'Cold Cold Cold' opens with a keyboard riff reminiscent of one of The Doors' biggest hits..."
Clash (Magazine) - "The '60s pop of 'Cold Cold Cold' is nothing short of excellent, and following cut 'Trouble' harks back to the stoned melodies of 'Melophobia'..."
