"King Lear ""is one of Shakespeare's famous tragedies, which tells the story of King Lear of Britain, who is old, foolish, and stubborn, and divides the land between his hypocritical eldest daughter Gonari and second daughter Rigan. Although the youngest daughter Cordelia was honest and kind, she was expelled abroad because she refused to flatter. Cordelia accepted the proposal of the King of France and accompanied him to France. King Lear gave up the throne and only retained the title of king and a hundred attendants, preparing to spend his later years in the homes of his two daughters. However, he was driven out of his home by them and suffered from the hardships of wandering in the wilderness. Cordelia learned of King Lear's tragic fate and rose up to attack his two sisters, but unfortunately failed. King Lear, holding the body of his youngest daughter, also died in grief and madness.
