Movie Reviews

Reviews:
"'The Birthday Party' plays like a Luis Buñuel-style commentary on the absurdity of bourgeois manners....Like the anthology as a whole, 'The Birthday Party' has some fascinating elements..." - 02/16/2017 A.V. Club

"Clark amps up the dark comedy within this surreal situation with jump scares and her own overbearing score. It’s a nightmarish vision of domestic comfort full of overbearing neighbors and an unsettling use of slow motion." - 02/17/2017 RogerEbert.com

"THE BOX is a moody, haunting take on motherhood and nourishment." - 02/16/2017 Los Angeles Times

"The creepiest part of XX, a quartet of short horror films by women, might be the Jan Svankmejer-like stop-action segments between each of them." - 03/02/2017 Boston Globe
