Mead is a scholarly work that explores the history of the Toldoth, a Jewish text that traces the lineage of the biblical patriarchs from Adam to Moses. The author focuses on the dating of the Toldoth, which he argues was written during the first century BCE, rather than the traditional view that it was written in the second century CE. Mead draws on a variety of sources, including the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient Jewish texts, to support his argument. The book provides a detailed analysis of the Toldoth and its historical context, as well as a discussion of the significance of its dating for understanding the development of Jewish literature and thought. Overall, The 100 Years B.C. Date In The Toldoth is a valuable resource for scholars and students of Jewish history and literature.THIS 28 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: Did Jesus Live 100 B.C., by G. R. S. Mead.
