Synopsis:
Set in California's Big Sur during the 1870s, this film tells the tale of cruel, thoughtless Zandy Allan, and his mail-order bride Hannah. Although Zandy is rough and crude to his wife, the spirited Hannah responds with only love and affection. The emotional conflicts stemming from this relationship make Zandy reconsider his feelings about himself and his treatment of Hannah. As a result, he becomes a new man, transformed by his wife's love.
