As this base text is the sole surviving copy, collation was carried out solely against the same-named formulas cited in Yifang Leiju (Classified Collection of Medical Formulas) and Puji Fang (Formulas for Universal Relief). This work comprises twenty-eight volumes. Preceding the main text, it records pharmaceutical contents related to wind-treating substances, regulation systems, and dietary taboos for wind conditions. The first two volumes compile the discussions of previous scholars on treating wind conditions, serving as an introduction, followed by content covering the variations of wind, general discussion of wind strike, treatment principles and methods, and general treatment of wind patterns, which are largely theoretical in nature with numerous case histories. The subsequent twenty-six volumes are organized by disease and pattern categories. Each category frequently begins with citations of discussions by renowned scholars, exploring the origins and developments of the pattern, followed by enumerations of treatment methods including formulas, acupuncture, and moxibustion. This book has extensive scope, covering conditions related to wind such as heat stroke, scabies and sores, and dry and damp beriberi. It draws on a broad range of evidence and is highly esteemed by physicians and book collectors in both China and Japan.
